Job summary

Philips Field Service Engineer in Houston, TX is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining imaging equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes strong customer service, regulatory compliance, and teamwork.

The position requires 5+ years in x-ray/MRI imaging service, electronic/mechanical/test equipment knowledge, and an associate degree in electronics. Travel within the region and flexible hours are expected, with overtime and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in x-ray, image guided therapy or MRI service environments.
• Ability to apply electronic, mechanical and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent; engineering degree preferred.
• Must be able to work in office/home/remote settings and in hospital environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting commitments at customer sites.
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites.
• Participate with regional team to improve processes and training opportunities.
• Complete administrative tasks, timesheets, PMs, and service documentation per regulations.
• Travel across the Houston area; up to 1–4 hours daily, with possible overnight travel.
