Job summary

Philips seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at customer sites in Houston, TX. You will build strong customer relationships while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 2+ years in x-ray/MRI/therapy service, a electronics-focused education, and the ability to work in hospital and home-office settings with flexible hours. Travel and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the x-ray, image guided therapy or magnetic resonance imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment.
• Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• Must be able to work in office/home office and hospital/healthcare environments; flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain medical equipment at customer sites.
• Manage customer relationships and meet commitments; drive service revenue.
• Complete administrative tasks (timesheets, service orders, expense reports, PMs, FCOs) per Philips requirements.
• Resolve hardware, software, and network issues using available tools and escalation processes.
• Travel across the defined geography; 1–4 hours driving daily, with possible overnight travel.
