Job summary

The CORE Institute is seeking a Front Office Representative (PT) at the Sun City West location to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate financial processing. On-site role emphasizes warm patient greetings, paperwork preparation, and insurance verification using CPS.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of front office experience in healthcare, familiarity with insurance rules, HIPAA guidelines, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year front office experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Experience collecting money is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations, medical terminology, and computer scheduling systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with providers, patients, and the public.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and eligibility/referral requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and inform Providers of arrivals using CPS.
• Prepare new patient paperwork and collect complete demographics and insurance information.
• Identify and collect co-payments, co-insurances, and past-due balances.
• Explain billing/insurance questions and refer complex matters to the Billing Specialist.
• Verify insurance and benefits and notify of coverage issues.
