Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives and returns calls to patients, other offices, and insurers.
• Completes referral forms accurately and forwards them to recipients.
• Schedules patients' appointments as needed.
• Obtains telephonic approvals for out-of-network specialists and pre-certifications.
• Contacts physicians and facilities to arrange other examinations or procedures.
• Maintains daily logs of contacts and completed tasks.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience in medical billing (1 year preferred)
