Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Palos Hills outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, explain visit flow, and help schedule the next appointment, balancing front-desk duties with essential back-office support.

In this full-time role, you’ll handle insurance verifications, collect co-pays, and coordinate with offices and teams to ensure a smooth patient care experience for every visitor to the center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: 9000 College Pkwy, Bldg H, Palos Hills IL, 60465

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary/1 evening per week)

Compensation:$19.00 - $20.00/hour (pending experience)

• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Insurance Verification Experience

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
