Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Type of Employment: Part-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Hours Vary)

Compensation: Starting at $15/hr (pending experience)

As a patient service specialist, you'll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Your role can significantly impact each patient's care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, provide information about their visit and next appointment during check-out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of front desk experience
• Healthcare experience

Preferred:

• 1 year of scheduling experience
• 1 year of medical office experience
