Job summary

Hill Country Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Front Office Float to join the Administration team in Redding, CA. The role covers front window, back desk, and side desk duties across Hill Country locations, handling patient check-in, appointments, and insurance updates.

Hours are Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with responsibilities including phone support, scheduling, and daily cash handling. Prior clinic experience is valued, with CPR and a CA driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus some college coursework.
• One year related experience and/or training.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CA driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients at front window and prepare waiting area.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; update patient records.
• Answer phones and support front desk operations.
• Balance cash bag at end of day and close deposits.
• Assist with time scheduling and patient insurance changes.
• Support back desk and confirmation desk as needed.
