Job summary

Hill Country Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Front Office Float to support front desk operations across multiple locations. You will handle patient check-in, scheduling, insurance updates, and payments in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework, and 1+ year of related experience. CPR is preferred and a CA driver license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent, plus some college coursework, and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR certificate preferred and CA driver license required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, HealthPro, and patient scheduling processes.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk: check-in patients, manage waiting area, collect payments and update patient info.
• Back Desk: answer phones, schedule appointments, handle time scheduler, and support front desk.
• Close-out: finalize cash deposits, update end-of-day numbers, confirm next-day appointments.
