Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks a flexible Medical Assistant (Float) to support both front and back office operations across our medical clinics. The role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and excellent patient care and administrative support across varied settings.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, processing check-ins, managing insurance information, assisting with exams, and EMR documentation, with weekly travel to Hanford.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical assisting experience (preferred)
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred but not required)
• Experience with both front and back office duties
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Hanford

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience in front office duties
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, verify demographics and insurance
• Process check-ins/check-outs and collect copays; maintain patient records in EMR
• Room patients, record vital signs, and assist providers with exams and procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper sanitation
• Travel to support different clinic locations, including Hanford at least once per week
