Job summary

Eye Consultants of Atlanta PC is seeking a Front Desk professional to be the friendly face of our medical office. You will greet patients, collect information, answer phones, and support scheduling and billing processes with accuracy and empathy.

The role requires strong communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasional travel may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors to the medical office in person and by phone.
• Scan documents into EMA.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Collect balances and copays at check-in.
• Schedule follow-up and new appointments, and adjust existing ones.
• Answer multi-line phones and direct patient needs to appropriate staff.
• Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
• Maintain schedule templates for doctors.
