Job summary

Connecticut Children’s is seeking a Medical Receptionist 2 to join our Hartford County team. You will provide front desk support, triage calls, schedule appointments and assist with back-office tasks under supervision.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and basic clerical skills. On-site position at 100 Retreat Avenue, Hartford, with flexible hours and a supportive team focused on pediatric care. Experience with EPIC is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience as Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist or in admin/customer service in healthcare or hospital setting.
• Associates degree preferred.
• EPIC or other EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and triage calls for the practice/office.
• Schedule appointments via telephone or in-person and call to confirm.
• Create and input department/provider schedules and coordinate with other hospital areas.
