Qualifications

• Must have reliable customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Must demonstrate friendliness, courtesy and strong verbal/written communication when greeting patients.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out patients at the medical front desk using Nextgen and Phreesia.
• Obtain patient information during office hours.
• Provide patients with required paperwork and collect necessary forms.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility at each visit.
• Collect co-pays and self-pay amounts at the time of service.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals and testing.
• Handle incoming calls professionally and direct to the proper person.
• Ensure accurate entry of patient information and documentation by end of the day.
