Job summary

Select Medical in Marina del Rey, CA is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to welcome patients at the front desk, register them, and guide them through the visit process. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm in an outpatient physical therapy center.

You will handle scheduling, insurance verifications, and co-pay collection while supporting operations. Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of front desk experience in healthcare or

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 Year Front Desk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate communication with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, market leaders and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.
