Job summary

Mid Florida Cancer Centers in Florida is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our Orange City clinic. As the first point of contact for patients, you will provide a welcoming experience and support efficient office operations.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of medical office experience, strong payment processing skills, knowledge of HIPAA, and excellent communication. Travel to other locations (DeLand, Orange City, Oviedo) may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
• Strong proficiency in payment processing and handling financial transactions.
• Knowledge of HIPAA practices.
• Solid understanding of medical office documentation.
• Exceptional multitasking skills in a busy, multi-location environment.
• Excellent communication and professional attitude.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel and Internet usage.
• Willingness to travel to other office locations.
• Bi-Lingual preferred.
• EMR terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Financial Duties: Collect co-pays, process payments, and maintain records.
• Patient Intake: Manage check-in and update EMR with accurate information.
• Administrative Support: Answer questions, manage multi-line phones, and other tasks.
• Demographics & Insurance: Obtain insurance cards and update demographics.
• Flexibility & Collaboration: Support multiple clinic locations as needed.
