Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking a Medical Front Desk Representative for a full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00–5:30 position at our Palm Beach Gardens office. The role includes greeting patients, processing insurances, scheduling, and maintaining EHR files in a busy ENT practice.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills and are willing to learn all aspects of ENT and Audiology. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Salary: $21.00 per hour; benefits follow after probation period.

Qualifications

• 1 year medical front desk experience preferred, not required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication with a professional phone manner.
• Ability to multitask and manage high patient volume.
• Team player with ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to patients and guests.
• Answer multi-line phones.
• Greet patients, check in, obtain insurance information and data.
• Distribute intake/new patient forms and office policies.
• Process co-pays and uninsured payments.
• Perform insurance verification.
• Schedule appointments based on physician availability.
• Maintain hard copy and EHR files.
• Call patients to confirm appointments and schedule testing.
• Provide support and guidance to patients.
