Qualifications

• Experience in a medical front desk or clinical office is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization and follow-up skills.
• Comfort with computers, phones, scheduling software, EMR, email and basic spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, calls.
• Review and schedule referrals, update patient records and explain next steps.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
• Collect copays and patient payments accurately; ensure HIPAA compliance in interactions.
