Mercy Medical Center in Towson, MD is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist for our Float Pool. You will be the first contact for patients, scheduling appointments and guiding them through check‑in at various Mercy sites.

This role offers exposure to multiple clinics and a chance to contribute to a welcoming patient experience. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical office experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when needed.
• Flexible and a team player who adapts to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Scan and organize medical records.
• Triage patient calls for urgency and collect insurance information.
• Enter charges and post payments accurately.
