Job summary

MedLink Georgia is actively hiring a Front Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for patients. The role requires welcoming patients, handling appointments, and assisting with insurance verification in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior front desk experience, and familiarity with electronic medical records such as eClinicalWorks. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required, with a patient-centered, HIPAA-compliant approach

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical front office or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks a plus).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally.
• Manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Verify insurance coverage and update patient records.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Answer multi-line phone system and route calls.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Support clinic operations with providers and clinical staff.
