Job summary

Serova is seeking a finance leader to own cost recovery, billing and the finances of patient services. You’ll manage pricing, invoicing, collections and FP&A across single-patient INDs, expanded access and trials, in both the US and UK entities.

Based in the SF Bay Area or London, this role requires healthcare finance experience, accounting qualifications and the ability to relocate. You’ll work with clinical teams and external partners to ensure compliant reimbursement and sound financial

Responsibilities

• Set up cost recovery for all program types within FDA rules.
• Own pricing, billing, invoicing and collections for patient services.
• Run FP&A for services: cost per patient, margins and forecasts.
• Collaborate with insurance leads and patient case managers on payments.
• Support broader finance across US/UK entities, budgeting and capital projects.

About Serova

Serova builds personalized cancer vaccines. Each vaccine is made for the individual patient from their own samples and given in partnership with their treating physician. We deliver treatments and services directly to patients, across single-patient INDs, expanded access and trials, and the finances behind that need to be simple and sound.

The role

You’ll own cost recovery, billing and the finances of our patient services, including across single-patient INDs, cohort expanded access, licensing and trials.

What you’ll do

• Set up cost recovery for each program type (single-patient IND, cohort expanded access, licensing, trials) within FDA rules
• Own pricing, billing, invoicing and collections for our patient services
• Run FP&A for services: cost per patient, margins and forecasts
• Work with our insurance lead and patient case managers on what each patient pays
• Support wider finance across our UK and US entities, including budgeting, cash runway and capital projects such as our clinic and manufacturing facility
