Job summary

Baxter in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician I to prepare products for patient use across rental and customer-owned medical devices. You will clean, disinfect, perform function checks, and minor repairs, supporting 24/7 delivery and service for centers and accounts.

This role requires driving a fleet vehicle, loading/unloading heavy equipment, and customer interaction. You must be at least 21, have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Use appropriate tools for adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Load, unload, and remove medical products up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contract.
• Safely operate a box truck or company vehicle from cargo van to 26,000 pound truck.
