Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician I to ensure product readiness for patient use across a range of rental and customer-owned medical products. You’ll perform cleaning, disinfecting, checks, and minor repairs, with 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support as needed.

The role requires operating a fleet vehicle safely, direct customer contact, and joining a team that supports patients and healthcare professionals in critical moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, technical training preferred.
• Experience with FDA-regulated products and customer service is a plus.
• Ability to operate a fleet vehicle and perform on-site repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on assigned products.
• Repair malfunctioning components and adjust devices using proper tools.
• Provide on-call coverage up to 24/7 including weekends/holidays.
• Load/unload and move medical products up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contracts.
• Safely operate company box truck or van/truck as required.
