Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Technician I to prepare products for patient use across rental and customer-owned medical devices. You will perform cleaning, disinfecting, function checks, and minor repairs, and provide timely on-site service and support.

The role requires driving a fleet vehicle, 24/7 availability, and direct customer interaction. You will join a team that maintains a strong commitment to patient care and Baxter's mission.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on assigned products.
• Repair malfunctioning components and perform adjustments with appropriate tools.
• Provide on-call support, including weekends and holidays.
• Load, unload and move medical products up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contracts.
• Safely operate a box truck or company vehicle (up to 26,000 pounds).
