DASCO Home Medical Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up and educate patients on medical equipment and supplies. The role includes completing paperwork, maintaining compliance logs, and supporting warehouse and inventory tasks across multiple environments.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and may involve after-hours on-call shifts. Residential delivery experience and healthcare customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a medical/insurance/healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medical equipment and supplies and educates patient/caregiver on use and maintenance.
• Completes required paperwork and maintains compliance logs and receipts.
• Adheres to HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA and related regulations; reports issues to manager.
• Responsible for afterhours coverage with other Medical Equipment Technicians.
• Supports training of new Medical Equipment Technicians as requested.
• Identifies patient needs and revenue opportunities for follow-up.
• Manages vehicle maintenance, loading/unloading, and warehouse inventory.
• Works in office, warehouse, clinical and residential environments; performs other duties as assigned.
