Job summary

Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is seeking an Administrator II in Medical Equipment & Supply to support CMS, SPD, and Material Handling operations. You will manage durable medical equipment, scheduling, documentation, and regulatory compliance within a hospital setting.

The role requires coordination with clinical leadership and vendors, handling preventive maintenance, and ensuring patient safety through meticulous records and inspections.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in an Equipment Technician role or related field.
• Combination of related education and experience may meet minimum qualifications.
• Biomedical Equipment Technician certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience coordinating equipment service, maintenance, or inspections with vendors.
• Experience in a healthcare/hospital setting and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for durable medical equipment tracking and calibration.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, and service with vendors.
• Maintain equipment inventories, certification dates, and maintenance records.
• Assist with procurement, repairs, and regulatory documentation as needed.
• Collaborate across CMS/SPD and Medical Services to ensure equipment readiness.
