Children's Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs is looking for a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Coordinator to coordinate DME needs across clinical settings and communicate with families and providers. The candidate should have a high school diploma and at least one year of healthcare customer service experience; an Associate degree or higher can substitute for experience.
The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Coordinator facilitates and coordinates DME related functions including securing DME, completing prior authorization request, completes appropriate documentation, and communicating and coordinating with patients and families.
EDUCATION - High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE - One year of experience providing customer service in a healthcare setting.
EQUIVALENCY - An Associate or higher degree, in a related field, may substitute for the experience requirements on a year for year basis.
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Range: $20.74 to $31.11
