SSR in Nashville is seeking a Medical Equipment Planner I to plan and manage the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects—coordinating with architects, vendors, and clinical users, maintaining accurate equipment lists, and supporting procurement and installation activities.

You will help ensure budgets and schedules are met, attend planning sessions, review drawings, and coordinate with design teams to deliver equipped facilities on time.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and/or related experience in the Healthcare environment or clinical arena.
• 1-2 years of medical equipment planning experience or related experience preferred.
• Experience planning small projects in the acute care setting.
• Basic understanding of building design and construction schedules.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Budget awareness: create and maintain budgets with detail-oriented communication.
• Customer-focused with strong organization and active listening; able to manage multiple tasks.

Aufgaben

• Plan the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects and keep stakeholders informed.
• Attend onsite/remote planning sessions and user group meetings across all phases.
• Assist with the Medical Equipment Responsibilities Matrix; coordinate with design teams and attend OAC meetings.
• Support vendor presentations/site visits and assist with RFP analyses.
• Conduct room-by-room content reviews using ESP; request and implement client equipment standards.
• Obtain and compare quotes; update budgets; generate equipment lists within standards.
• Review drawings and coordinate equipment requirements; ensure dimensional accuracy and note changes clearly.
• Track the equipment budget; review purchase orders; resolve PO issues; secure signoff for selections.
• Coordinate delivery, storage, and installation of medical equipment; assist with inventories and move management.
• Research emerging technologies; prepare closeout packages and final reports.
• Set daily priorities to meet deadlines; maintain organized documentation and follow planning processes.
