Job summary

DASCO is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician in Hopkinton, MA to deliver and assemble medical equipment and supplies, educate patients and caregivers on usage and benefits, and perform related warehouse tasks.

The role requires handling paperwork, maintaining logs, and complying with HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA and other regulations, with after-hours on-call shifts. Full-time hours Mon-Fri with potential weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Residential delivery driver experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a medical/insurance/healthcare setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a qualified driving record.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medical equipment and supplies and educates patients on use and maintenance.
• Completes required paperwork and maintains compliance logs.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA and related regulations.
• Provides afterhours coverage with other Medical Equipment Technicians.
• Assists in training new Medical Equipment Technicians.
• Identifies patient needs and revenue opportunities for follow-up.
• Supports vehicle maintenance and daily manifests.
• Maintains warehouse and inventory levels and equipment cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the branch office manager.
