Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Coordinator for Student and Resident Development to ensure regulatory standards are met and programs are implemented to grow Medical Education initiatives.

The role supports the physician pipeline through student programming and assists residents in transitioning to residency, developing professional identity and ensuring a positive learner experience. It combines student onboarding with resident/fellow programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in GME/adult education; six years of admin support in healthcare may count
• Experience in student services, medical education, project management or professional development preferred
• Ability to design routine reports and gather data; manage schedules and communications

Responsibilities

• Work with program directors, faculty, coordinators, and residents/fellows to identify needs in transition to residency and identity formation
• Consult with program directors on individual learning plans
• Assist graduates relocating for residency and support onboarding for students requesting observations
• Oversee onboarding for high school, undergrad and medical students and coordinate student orientation
• Coordinate student schedules with preceptors and generate evaluation reports for rotations
• Collaborate with GME Wellness to deliver resources and events supporting belonging in residency
• Participate in NGHS committees supporting employee well-being and inclusion
