Job summary

The College of Osteopathic Medicine at Xavier University (XUCOM) invites applications for a 12-month Medical Education Specialist position beginning in late summer/early fall 2026. The role supports the Office of Medical Education, including administration of the first-year DO pre-clinical curriculum and MA Biomedical Science program.

The Specialist will assist in classroom instruction and testing, compile and format exams, maintain grades, post teaching materials to Canvas, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Experience working in higher education is preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Interact with students, faculty, colleagues, and administration to support the learning of all students within the COM
• Assist with assessment-related efforts including the creation and management of course and faculty evaluations, updating curriculum maps.
• Support information collection and flow for learning management system (Canvas) data and assessment management systems
• Support data entry and ground level assessment information and processing for the Associate Deans.
• Maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail are essential.
