Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio invites applications for a medical genetics faculty position within the Division of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Genetics of the College of Osteopathic Medicine (XUCOM). These are 12-month, including tenure and non-tenure track possibilities, beginning June 2027.

The successful candidate will design and deliver basic science curriculum, develop assessments, mentor students, and contribute to scholarship and service in a Jesuit Catholic university

Qualifications

• Scholarly activity in genetics or molecular biology.
• 1–3 years teaching experience in medical education or graduate education.
• Evidence of student mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers curricular content within the College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Involved in the creation of assessments within the curriculum of the College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Advises and mentors students of XUCOM

The proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine at Xavier University (XUCOM) invites applications for a medical genetics faculty in the Division of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Genetics. The 12-month positions beginning in June of 2027. Tenure and non-tenuretrack will be considered. These positions are involved in the creation, development, and delivery of the basic science medical curriculum, the creation and evaluation of assessments, pursuescholarly activities in their area of expertise, and provides mentorship and guidance for medical students. The biomedicalscience faculty report to the Associate Dean of Faculty and MedicalPrograms.
