Xavier University invites applications for non-tenure-track Biomedical Science Faculty in the Division of Anatomy within Xavier University College of Osteopathic Medicine (XUCOM). The 12-month positions begin in June 2027 and focus on developing the basic science curriculum, creating assessments, operating the gross anatomy lab, and mentoring medical students.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in discipline related to medical education (PhD, MD, DO).
• 1-3 years teaching experience in medical education or graduate education (preferred).
• Evidence of student mentoring (preferred).
• Applicants with expertise in histology and histological techniques will be especially considered (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers curricular content within the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Involved in the creation of assessments within the curriculum of the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Advises and mentors students of XUCOM.
• Contributes to the mission of the college through teaching and service.
• Other duties as assigned.
