Job summary

Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, MD Core Curriculum, seeks an Associate Program Coordinator to partner with faculty on course delivery and operations for Integrated Science Courses in years 3 and 4. Responsibilities include course creation in VSTAR, classroom prep, and tracking student progress, under the Senior Program Manager.

You will collaborate with OHSE/OUME staff, instructional designers, and campus offices to ensure timely scheduling, documentation, and quality improvement

Qualifications

• At least one year of work experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare-related setting.
• Experience in program administration and coordination.
• Experience with a learning management system or other cloud-based or application system.
• Demonstrated organizational skills (planning, tracking, and/or using tools to keep track of work).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Executes course creation, setup, and delivery of ISC courses within VSTAR.
• Identifies, researches, and selects facilities for course and program activities via EMS.
• Provides logistical support for teaching sessions, including exams and faculty meetings.
• Oversees revisions to ISC course director and student handbooks and resource materials.
• Schedules and assists with annual course evaluation processes.
• Onboards Immersion Phase faculty and maps learning objectives in VSTAR.
