Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or appropriate combination of education and experience.
• One year of program or project administration or relevant experience.
• Preferred: previous program administration experience in undergraduate or graduate medical education.

Responsibilities

• Administration: provides support and meets regularly with the program director concerning program management issues, maintains databases, and develops schedules.
• Budgets & Financial: develops, monitors, and reports on the yearly training program budget and processes related payments.
• Communication, Outreach & Recruitment: handles match responsibilities, recruitment activities, and external communications.
• Evaluation: facilitates evaluative processes of trainees and programs to improve workflow and cost effectiveness.
• Human Resources: oversees orientation and onboarding for trainees and handles visa paperwork when needed.
• Program Development: assists accreditation site visits and policy development; understands curriculum and standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensures adherence to national accrediting bodies and hospital policies.
• Trainee Support: provides supervision and liaison to trainees and coordinators.
• Supervision: may train new coordinators and hire junior assistants.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
