Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks an Education Coordinator to oversee the operational and financial management of accredited or non-accredited medical education training programs, including fellowship, residency, and clerkship within the Northwestern Medicine system.

Under the Program Director, the coordinator manages long-range planning, trainee recruitment, project development, data management, and communications with faculty and trainees, ensuring compliance with national accreditation policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year experience in program administration or relevant.

Responsibilities

• Administration: supports program management, maintains trainee and faculty data, and schedules.
• Budgets & Financial: helps budget processes, purchasing, and grant management.
• Communication, Outreach & Recruitment: handles match responsibilities and recruitment communications.
• Evaluation: supports trainee and program evaluation, workflow improvements.
• Human Resources: orients trainees and manages onboarding and visa paperwork.
• Program Development & Regulatory Compliance: supports ACGME site visits, policy development, and credentialing.
• Trainee Support & Supervision: liaises with trainees and mentors, coordinates rotations.
