Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for Undergraduate Medical Education to support day-to-day operations of the AJH Medical Education Programs. The role involves onboarding medical students and residents, coordinating contracts, conferences, faculty appointments and required documentation to ensure compliance and program quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the administrative activities of Undergraduate Medical Education, including onboarding of medical students and residents, and coordination of contracts, educational conferences, faculty appointments, affiliation agreements, meetings, required documentation and reports.
• Plan, develop and update educational programs for medical students and residents in collaboration with AH clerkship faculty and affiliated schools.
• Manage various special projects to support department operations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and educate staff on software databases, ensuring data quality, integrity and audits.
• Maintain records and ensure data integrity across residency programs and regulatory agencies.
• Organize events such as white coat ceremonies, yearbooks, pre-med programs and recruitment fairs.
• Track expenditures and assist in budgeting to keep department targets.
