Jefferson Health Plans in Abington is seeking a Coordinator to support Undergraduate Medical Education at Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health. Under supervision of the Manager Medical Education, you will help run day-to-day operations and ensure smooth program administration.

You will onboard medical students and residents, coordinate contracts and educational conferences, maintain records, and assist with audits and reporting for internal and external agencies.

Responsabilités

• Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make Abington – Jefferson Health (AJH) the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees.
• Coordinates the administrative activities of the department including onboarding of medical students/residents along with coordination of contracts, educational conferences, faculty appointment, affiliation agreements, meetings, required documentation and reports for internal and external agencies.
• Works with leaders at Academic Institutions to plan, develop and implement educational programs for medical students/residents including orientation.
• Manages special projects to support department operations in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates and educates others in software databases, and audits data quality and integrity.
• Maintains records and ensures data integrity and compliance with medical schools and regulatory agencies; participates in events (white coat ceremony, recruitment fairs, etc.).
• Tracks expenditures and reviews departmental budgetary expenses to maintain targets; performs other duties as assigned.
