Job summary

East Bend Animal Hospital in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Medical Director Veterinarian (DVM) to lead our small animal practice. This leadership role focuses on maintaining high‑quality medicine while guiding medical standards, supporting team development, and ensuring exceptional client experiences.

You will partner with hospital leadership to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a collaborative, supportive team and strong diagnostic capabilities.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent)
• NAVLE completed
• Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
• Experience in small animal GP, urgent care, emergency medicine, or companion animal medicine is preferred
