Central Oregon Animal Hospital in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead our hospital operations, drive profitability, and foster a collaborative, client‑focused team. The role emphasizes in‑person leadership and hands-on management of finances, staff, and client service.

The ideal candidate will have a business background, 3–5 years of managerial experience, and a track record in service environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the hospital P&L and be accountable for the hospital’s performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast needs.
• Manage accounts receivable and oversee hospital inventory to control costs.
• Oversee payroll and develop hospital schedules to manage labor costs.
• Promote best practices and lead change to improve processes and workflows.
• Drive client service, operations, and administrative excellence across the team.
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Establish and drive the hospital culture and maintain licensure for DVMs.
