Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 1 to 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and organizational time-management skills.
• Must possess good documentation practices (GDP).
• Read/write in English; understand PPC documents, safety rules, instructions, drawings and SDS sheets.
• Strong math skills; read measurements in English and metric with conversions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily production activities to meet cost, delivery, safety, waste, volume and quality standards.
• Coordinates staffing and production sequences to maximize productivity.
• Directs, assigns, and supports employees; ensures materials and resources are available.
• Adheres to safety requirements and PPE/clothing procedures.
• Follows safety rules including handling chemicals, LOTO and HAZMAT as applicable.
• Trains new employees; handles training forms and documentation.
• Monitors materials and communicates re-order needs.
