Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a packaging engineer.
• Experience in selecting materials, producing designs, and analyzing process capability and costs.
• Proficient with SolidWorks and MS Office suite; knowledge of GMP/QSR environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Lead the development of new product packaging solutions.
• Identify and select packaging materials with R&D teams.
• Choose appropriate manufacturing processes and equipment for packaging production.
• Provide strategic guidance on packaging to senior leadership.
• Develop packaging equipment specifications and ensure manufacturability.
• Apply Six Sigma and lean methods to optimize production lines.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for packaging projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, and Quality teams and interface with manufacturing staff.
