Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS seeks a part-time Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and update medical devices in hospitals nationwide. The role involves hands-on hardware and software installations, on-site support, and coordinating with on-site teams.

Travel across the United States is required, with 1–3 weeks on-site assignments and a flexible schedule. A valid driver license, personal vehicle, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential components of this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related technical experience required.
• 3+ years’ experience in field technical role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferred.
• Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is preferred for this position
• Prior military veterans with experience in an electronics, maintenance, or IT related MOS encouraged to apply!
• Professional business acumen including communication and soft skills required
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision required
• Preferred: Biomedical Technician experience is a plus but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
• Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.
• Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Manage project timelines and customer needs.
