Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and update medical devices in hospitals nationwide, with on-site support.

This part-time role requires travel, with assignments usually 1–3 weeks onsite and 3 weeks of open availability per month. You will install hardware/software, set up equipment/workstations, and coordinate with customers while growing technical leadership in the medical device field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related technical experience.
• 3+ years in field technical role with hardware and software installations preferred.
• Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, or IT preferred.
• Veteran applicants encouraged to apply.
• Professional business acumen and good communication skills required.
• Comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Able to sit/stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
