Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembler in Tigard, OR for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will assemble and test medical devices in a manufacturing cell, performing tasks on pacemakers, ICDs, medical leads and related components, with a focus on precision and quality.

Candidates should read and follow procedures, document work, and adhere to safety and quality systems. This position offers steady shifts and cleanroom-like processes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using computers, software applications, and electronic data collection systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
• Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to handle and assemble small components
• Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine assembly, testing, and repair tasks following established and standardized procedures
• Complete assigned work under close supervision, with ongoing review to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for all manufacturing cell operations
• Communicate clearly and professionally with manufacturing leadership regarding ideas, issues, and solutions (both written and verbal)
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude when interacting with internal teams and external visitors or tours
• Follow all safety policies and correctly use required safety equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to support productivity, quality, and profitability goals
• Maintain accurate records to ensure full product traceability and resolution of any quality concerns
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors and Managers to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics
• Support divisional initiatives and comply with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements
