Job summary

US Med-Equip in Louisville, KY is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support hospital partners by coordinating equipment orders, deliveries, and service requests. You will work with operations and sales to ensure timely, accurate and courteous service.

This on-site role requires high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift heavy items up to 75 lbs, pass a DOT physical, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • DOT certification/physical required.
  • Ability to read/write English and perform basic math.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Load, secure, and transport equipment to healthcare facilities.
  • Safely drive and maintain company vehicles.
  • Assist in shipping, receiving, and stocking at branch warehouse.
  • Provide professional customer service to hospital contacts.
  • Maintain neat appearance and wear company uniform.
  • Follow operations processes and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily with sales and other teams on orders and deliveries.
  • Participate in business planning and professional development sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will work with operations and the sales team to provide excellent customer service to our hospital partners.

Job Responsibilities
  • Carefully load, secure, and transport life-saving medical equipment and supplies to support clinicians in healthcare institutions
  • Safely drive and maintain company vehicles
  • Help service, ship, and receive equipment in branch warehouse
  • Provide professional customer service to hospital contacts, listening and responding to their patient and equipment needs
  • Maintain a neat appearance, including wearing a company uniform
  • Adhere to the operations process, including quality management system standards
  • Coordinate daily with local sales representative and other company team members on equipment orders and delivery, planning and support to healthcare partners
  • Participate in business planning and professional development sessions
  • All other duties as assigned
Preferred Education
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record for the past 3 years
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to professionals in the healthcare industry
  • Ability to use our company portal daily to manage equipment maintenance orders and deliveries
  • Ability to work multiple shifts, including on-call as needed
  • Able to read and write in English and perform math calculations
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs
  • Ability to pass a DOT certification/physical
