MedSpeed is seeking a part-time Medical Delivery Driver/LSR in Kankakee to safely transport lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies in a company vehicle. You will use a handheld scanner, follow routes, and ensure on-time deliveries across routes that may vary.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and professional client interaction, with scheduled shifts on weekdays and the possibility of different routes as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and scanning devices.
• Ability to follow procedures and determine efficient routing.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle and transport medical items including specimens and supplies.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe all safety policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load/unload vehicles and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Work with teammates and clients to ensure reliable service.
