MedSpeed is seeking a dedicated Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Silver Spring. You will drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials across the DMV area, while using a handheld scanner to track items and maintain schedules.

The role requires strong customer service, a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive company vehicles to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle; ensure on-time delivery.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public; build trust with customers.
• Route duties may vary; perform duties across all routes as assigned.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients; uphold MedSpeed culture.
