Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Silver Spring to drive a company vehicle, transport medical materials, and support healthcare clients across the DMV area. The role requires professional conduct, safe driving, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

You will use a handheld scanner, follow standardized procedures, and adapt routes as needed while maintaining a collaborative team environment. Vaccination may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
• Able to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with technology and routing decisions.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof may be required by location.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through transportation cycles.
• Follow company policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image during client interactions.
• Load and unload items, maintain a clean vehicle.
• Demonstrate safe driving and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Adapt routes as assigned by client and company needs.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support MedSpeed culture.
