Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Fairfax. You will drive a company vehicle to transport medical specimens, records, and supplies throughout the DMV area, adhering to schedules and safety policies.

The role requires a 12:00 PM–8:30 PM shift, a valid license, and a vaccination requirement where applicable. A company vehicle is provided, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide healthcare logistics team.

Qualifications

Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated dependability and reliability
Familiarity with technology and scanning devices
Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens

Responsibilities

Safely drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials
Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle
Present a professional image to clients and the public
Load and unload items and perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
Route duties based on client needs and adapt to changing schedules
Demonstrate teamwork and contribute to a collaborative MedSpeed culture
