MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in Springfield, IL. The role involves safely driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials across routes.

Training is provided and reliable performance is expected in a fast-paced healthcare logistics setting. Qualified candidates should have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years, strong customer service, and the ability to follow procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Ability to follow procedures and route efficiently.
• Comfortable using hand-held scanning devices and technology.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to transport specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through transportation cycles.
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and keep vehicle clean and orderly.
• Load and unload items with proper equipment and ensure safety.
• Route duties vary by client and may change; work across all routes as needed.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professional conduct with clients and teammates.
