The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional client interactions, with fixed schedules and comprehensive training provided. Candidates must meet driving and physical requirements and pass drug screens as part of hiring.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Good driving history and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related items.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload materials and maintain a clean, orderly vehicle.
• Follow routes and schedules; demonstrate safe, courteous driving.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and adapt to route changes.
